There have been a few rumors going around about Megan’s appearance in an upcoming ‘Boston Legal’ episode. Some include the following:Former Will & Grace fixture Megan Mullally will bounce back into prime time soon. After the recent demise of her daytime talker The Megan Mullally Show, the two-time Emmy winner has signed up for a dramatic turn on ABC’s Boston Legal. The recurring role casts Mullally as a slightly unhinged former flame of lawyer Alan Shore (James Spader). The run of episodes featuring Mullally will begin airing mid-March.————Outside of this one article, nothing else has been said or stated proving that Megan’s character will become recurring. We will keep you posted if anything else is heard on this. Another rumor is that apparently Megan’s episode has been pushed back to March 20th (not official). The episode that she is starring in is taking longer to film then expected so they will replace the original airdate of March 6th with a rerun. With her daytime show now done, Megan Mullally is headed back to primetime, courtesy of the folks at “Boston Legal.”Mullally will guest-star on an episode of the ABC series later this season, playing a former co-worker and ex-girlfriend of James Spader’s character, Alan Shore. She’s shooting the episode this week; an airdate hasn’t been scheduled yet.Whenever the episode does air, Mullally will have a memorable entrance. Per ABC, viewers will meet her character, Renata Hall, “as she dashes down the courthouse hallway wearing a bloody wedding gown, carrying a bloody pair of scissors and proclaiming her innocence in the murder of her betrothed.”Mullally won a pair of Emmys, in 2000 and 2006, for playing Karen Walker on NBC’s “Will & Grace.” She was nominated five other times and also counts four Screen Actors Guild Awards wins to her credit. She hosted a daytime talk show this season, but low ratings forced it off the air last month.Her credits also include the feature films “Rebound” and “Stealing Harvard” and the HBO movie “Winchell.” SOURCE *EDIT* It is rumored this episode is set to air on March 6th.
