MEGAN-ISH QUESTIONS
When did you become a fan of Megan?: I actually remember the exact date - it's strange haha I first became a fan of Megan on November 30, 2005. I remember the summer of 2005 is when I really started to become hooked on Will & Grace and fell in love with Karen. So when I saw on a commercial that Will and Grace's Megan Mullally would be hosting the lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center, I marked it on my calendar to watch...I remember even recording it just because I loved Karen that much - and I remember that there was just something about that woman that captivated me when I saw her hosting the show. And from then on I had to watch everything else she appeared in.
What is your favorite Megan movie?: Definitely "The Pact" - I read the book first, and fell in love with the book, but then seeing the movie, with her in it just made it even more amazing. She did such a wonderful job playing Melanie Gold - she moved me to tears in this role!
What is your favorite Megan song?: It is extremely hard to choose just one favorite, but I would have to say "
Down by the Water" is one of my all time favorites! I had heard the original version by PJ Harvey and really liked it, and then couldn't believe it when I heard that Megan had made a remake!! Hers is much better - her voice is so powerful, and the instruments in the background are amazing, too. However, "
Fancy," "
I Was Meant For the Stage," and "
I Cannot Justify" are a few of my favorites, too.
What kind of movie would you like to see Megan in?: A porno. haha ONLY KIDDING! Well, she has already been in so many different types of movies...I'd say "
Everything Put Together" is somewhat Indie/alternative..."
The Pact" is drama..."
Stealing Harvard" is comedy...but come to think of it I can't think of anything scary she has been in. The scariest role I have seen her play is Renata in
Boston Legal...So I guess it would be pretty cool to see her play in a horror movie just because it would be so different.
What song would you love to hear Megan cover?: I would love to hear her sing Frank Sinatra's "
New York, New York" - Cat Power did a cover of this song which was great, but I think Megan would do an amazing job!
What do you love most about Megan?: There are so many qualities to choose from! This is a tough one, but I'm going to have to say that I think that her individuality is the best thing about her. She is incredibly unique - unlike any other famous celebrity, smart, friendly, beautiful inside and out, with so many different talents - she is just an amazing woman all around - and she has this glow that makes her stick out from anyone else in a crowd, on stage, or on television.
